Evan Mascagni (he/him) is a Kentucky based director and producer whose recent work focuses on southern documentaries, including PBS Short Film Festival juried prize recipient, WINN; ITVS-commissioned Persistent; and Appalshop collaboration, Wiley’s Last Resort. His latest feature, Building a Bridge (AMC+ and Sundance TV), premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was executive produced by Martin Scorsese. Evan was recently named to DOC NYC’s 40 Under 40 emerging documentary filmmakers, is a mentor for the non-profit BYkids, and a co-leader of the southern documentary chapter of the collective, Filmshop.
