Evan Mascagni is an award-winning director and producer based in Kentucky. His latest documentary feature, Building a Bridge, premiered at the Tribeca Festival and was executive produced by Martin Scorsese. His latest short film, Beekeeper, was nominated for an Emmy by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - Ohio Valley.

Named to DOC NYC’s 40 Under 40 emerging filmmakers, Evan’s recent work has been featured on Sundance TV, AMC+, and PBS, with coverage in Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, and The Washington Post. His work has been supported by ITVS, The Redford Center, and Perspective Fund. He co-founded Player Piano Productions, mentors young filmmakers for the non-profit organization, BYkids, and is a co-founder of the Southern Documentary Chapter of the collective Filmshop.
